Explore the land

A sunny outdoor scene with a tree with slender, silvery-green leaves, a beige patio umbrella, and pink flowering bushes against a clear blue sky.

Tucked away in the hills.

Part of the charm of Villa Solhyllan is its location. Tucked away in the hills above Le Plan-de-la-Tour, the property feels peaceful and removed, yet some of the best beaches, villages, vineyards, and restaurants of the Côte d'Azur are all within easy reach.

Spend the morning walking the trails that begin just beyond the gate, followed by fresh croissants and baguettes from the village bakery. Head to the coast for a swim, linger over lunch overlooking the Mediterranean, then return to the villa as the late afternoon light settles across the hills.

A little further afield, you'll find the hilltop villages of Ramatuelle, Gassin, and Grimaud, each with their own character and winding streets to explore. Local vineyards welcome visitors for tastings, while weekly brocante markets offer the simple pleasure of wandering without a destination.

A woman prepares a table for an outdoor meal under a large beige umbrella on a sunny day. The table is set with plates, glasses, and a centerpiece. There are trees, a swimming pool, and a house in the background.
