Villa Solhyllan

Sol · hyl · lan.
Swedish for "the sun ledge.”

A house on a ledge.

Villa Solhyllan sits on a small plateau in the hills above Le Plan-de-la-Tour, on a sun-drenched ledge that inspired its name.

A family home in Provence for holidays, retreats, offsites, and meaningful gatherings.

What started as a place for our family to escape the northern winters gradually became a place worth sharing. Today, Villa Solhyllan welcomes people looking to reconnect with friends and family, bring a group together, or create the space for something meaningful to happen.

Villa Solhyllan welcomes family holidays and small gatherings of friends.

It's a place for long meals, slow mornings, afternoons by the pool, and evenings that seem to last a little longer than planned. There is space for children to roam, for conversations to unfold naturally, and for those moments when you simply want a quiet corner to yourself.

Whether you're bringing together a leadership team, hosting a yoga retreat, facilitating a creative workshop, or creating space for people to pause and reconnect, you'll find a natural home for it at Villa Solhyllan.

It's a place for morning practice on the terrace, workshops beneath the trees, and conversations that continue long after the session has ended. For shared meals, fresh ideas, and the moments in between that somehow become the most memorable part of the week.

A place worth sharing.

Originally purchased as a winter escape for our family, the villa slowly became much more than that and each visit made it harder to leave. There is something about the light, the space, and the slower pace of life here that invites people to reconnect, recharge, and simply be present. It became clear that a place like this was meant to be shared.
